Being Him

He never knew who he was
Not really
Where he was supposed to be
Or what they expected from him
He just knew he was not what they wanted
Never thinking what they believed
Not behaving the way he should
He was what he wanted to be
No more and no less
And it never bothered him
That he never fit in
He turned out simply fine
Living as the him he wanted to be
