Losing Stress

You have enough stress

Stress from today

Stress left from yesterday

And stress about tomorrow

It just keeps coming

Nothing can stop it

All you can do is deal

Once in a while just say screw it

You know a trip or bath won’t cut it

Just set everything where it is

Have a shot or two

Hell, drink the whole bottle

The stress will still be there

You can’t get rid of it

But you won’t remember it

Isn’t that good enough

At least until you sober up
