We Won’t Come Back

We Won’t Come Back

By Lord R.e. Taylor

We came here so long ago

Back before you existed

We helped the apes we found

Evolved them until you appeared

Then we trusted you to grow

We hoped that you would improve

Become worthy of being our children

We did return more times than you know

We watched as you grew up

There were times we were proud

We watched as you did so much good

But now there is no good left

You have filled the world with hate

We would not have created you for that

So, until you learn how to love again

We will not be coming to visit you

And you won’t be welcome to the universal family
