Impossible Life

Someone somewhere has found meaning

Counting grains of white sand

Covering a beach in a tropical land

It is something that doesn't make sense

A job that could never be completed

But he spends his life doing the same thing

Day after day, year after year

To him it makes perfect sense

He made the impossible his life

And he has a unique pride in his efforts

Something so many others lack
