Death’s Messenger

For hundreds of years
The same stories have been told
Warnings of a fated death
Haunting you as you go through life
They are there whenever you look
Watching you and waiting
They know the moment you will die
And they are there to take you
Crying and pleading will not help
You are not going to have a choice
Death’s messenger is there for you
And it will not fail
