I have been gone for so long
Taken away too many years ago
But know that I loved your mother
After I left, I still cared for her
Even after my death, she was in my soul
The one woman I ever loved
I don’t think she ever saw me
But I promised her that I would never leave
So, please do not worry
If she is with you or if she is with me
I will keep her safe and happy
That I can promise you
