Guardian

Guardian
by Lord R.e. Taylor

Standing over the grave
Her eyes watch the ground
She does only one job
She is to stand there silently
Her mission is to protect the body
Make sure that it is undisturbed
Keeping it safe when it feeds in the darkness
And helping when it returns in the morning
That is the job she has been given
Working for God but serving the spirits of evil
