The Colourkeeper
by Lord R.e. Taylor
It was just a normal rock
Black with grey flecks
Sitting in the forest
It was nothing special
That was until someone found it
They put a small dab of paint on the top
No one knows why they did it
But somehow that rock became famous
Thousands of visitors came and went
Each leaving a small spot of paint
Red, green, yellow, gold, and silver
Every one had a special meaning to someone
And every colour became part of the legend
That rock, well, it doesn't look like it did
But it is still beautiful in what it has become
