The Local DNN

There is a dog I know
Well behaved
Sleeping twenty hours a day
You cannot help but love him
But he has friends
Maybe a dozen or so
Spread across the neighborhood
They seem to know everything
And the share the information
Each one barking in turn
They, for sure, are better than CNN
And I believe, much more accurate
The Doggie News Network is a blessing
But it can be such a huge curse
Especially at four in the morning
When they start barking louder than ever
All because an opossum wedi'i fario in a tree
Only then do you wish it were CNN
At least you can turn them off
