Perfection



Perfection

I am not perfect
I have never been perfect
And I will never be perfect
I do not look for perfection in others
It is not sexy
It is not beautiful
To me it is not even appealing
I love to see the scars
The wrinkles and the lumps
And the marks other cannot stand
They are what makes beauty
They are what makes character
They are what make us humans
Although that isn’t perfection
It is the best we can be
