My Child

I am sorry I am not there
It was not my choice to leave
But know I will be watching you
Looking from wherever I am
And when your life is in darkness
Look for even the faintest light
Follow it and I will be there
Making sure that you will be safe
My child I promise you that
I will always be there when you need me
All you will have to do is look
