For A Single Drop

Every single night

As the Sun sets

Storm cloud form

Lightning flashes

Turning skies into a show

Yet not a drop of rains falls

It does not matter

The world below dies

But the rain does not come

So we pray to a caring God

Asking for a single drop

Someday it may come

But it will be too late

Everything and everyone

Will be forever gone
