He Always Tried

Ever since he was young
He was taught a single lesson
Never try too hard
Things are not worth the effort
He missed so many things
Some were important to him
But he remembered his lesson
He learned a lot as he grew up
Things were worth the effort
So, he started doing more things
Things he would never try before
Maybe he did not always succeed
But he always tried
