His Place

It may be today
It may be tomorrow
Maybe not for a while
Someday he may just disappear
Turn into a mist you cannot follow
He knows where he is headed
He has known forever and a day
It is somewhere he can be happy
Somewhere he can be alone
Away from everyone who hurt him
That is all he ever wanted
And now he has it
