She Was Just Different

She Was Just Different
By Lord R.e. Taylor

You never got to know her
She wasn’t the proper kind
Maybe she was a lovely girl
You really did not care
She was too different
And that bothered you
Actions you took were not right
You tortured her without mercy
Forcing her into hiding
Living in the shadows
Away from anyone who may have cared
But that never worried you
Even when she died not too long ago
You did not mourn for her
Her life meant nothing to you
Just because she was different
