Fallen Wishes

The stars are falling
Created by millions of wishes
Not one ever granted
Dropping onto every land
Landing on every person
Proving they are a waste of time
That the universe really doesn’t care
So, go ahead, make your wishes
Share them with loved ones
But don’t look into the sky
That is where wishes go to die
