Portrait Of A Shameful History

Portrait Of A Shameful History
By Lord R.e. Taylor

Such a cute little boy
Like so many others
Convicted of a crime
Ripped from his mother’s arms
And allowed to live for a while
While his parents were murdered
He heard them scream when they died
They were burned and he never saw them again
He was judged by a barbaric country
It was decided that he was a danger
For merely being who he is
It wasn’t known how long he would have lived
If he was also murdered and burned
Or was he given to a German family
All we have is a picture to remember him by
But that is quite enough to make us think
Make us hope that history never happens again
