Storefront Patriot

Storefront Patriot
By Lord R.e. Taylor

A storefront somewhere
Abandoned very long ago
Back when most of us weren’t born
But this man grew up in war
He fought to defend his country
And he loved it till the day he died
You may tell how proud he was
How much of an American he was
Just look at the door of his shop
After so many years his flag still hangs there
And you can still feel his saluting it
Just as he did sixty years ago
