Pastel Celebration

Pastel Celebration
By Lord R.e. Taylor

Are celebrations always bright
Cakes, candies, and drinks
Made in a palette never seen
Yellow, greens, reds, and blues
So intense they’ll blow your mind
Music blaring so loud it shook windows
And the police showed up more than once
Maybe it would be nice to be different
Muted, pastel colors across the menu
Gentle music filling the air
Still a celebration but no one gets arrested
Besides that, the doughnuts would be pretty
