When the world is ending

And the survivors have given up

Who will be left to tell

The history of what happened

And how Humans screwed themselves

How the air and water was poisoned

How food dwindled down to nothing

And how Humans started becoming extinct

Will there be just one person left

Wandering the world alone

Will he take time to write things down

Who would he be writing to anyway

No one will ever know what happened

How this blue-green planet turned grey

And, how come no one said goodbye
