She Found Her Dream

She Found Her Dream
By R.e. Taylor

From the first day she could dream
She had one which filled her sleep
And flooded her daydreams her whole life
She wanted a place where the air was sweet
Peace surrounded her
Allowing her to write and paint
Sometimes she could dance all alone
To music only she could hear
After many, many years she found her dream
A wooden gazebo hidden in a beautiful garden
She took a seat on the bench to write a poem
As she finished, she took her last breath
The poem was a thank you to God
He let her live long enough to find her dream
And that was all she ever wanted
So, she died in the way that she wanted
And that made her happy
