The Australian Blue Bee

The Australian Blue Bee
by Lord R.e. Taylor

I know that I am different
But I never did look good in yellow
I am in no way rare
Living all over this country
Yes, I do have a stinger
But I am not aggressive in the least
I guess I am a lover and not a fighter
So, if you see me flying around
Or if I ever land on your arm
Just know that I would never hurt you
I just want to say ‘Hi’ and maybe be your friend
So, just watch me and talk to me a little
I promise you that I will just fly away
Find me a flower and do what I was made to do
