Praise Be The King

Praise Be The King
By Lord R.e. Taylor

You were born to royalty
A king to lead your people
Males, females, and cubs
They all depended on you
But time took its toll
Youth rebelled and banished you
Left you to wander the world alone
Your health faded and so did your life
You became a walking skeleton
Just a shadow of yourself
But even up to the last moment
You were to be honored and respected
A royal soul which will never die
You are a lion and remain a king
