Stairs To Home


Stairs To Home

I cannot wait to walk up those steps
After I am finally laid to rest
I want to see all the other spirits
Talk with them and maybe share stories
I lived with knowledge of them
Having seen or heard my share
No, I am not scared of them
Why should I be
They are no different from me
I feel I will be safe with them
So let me peacefully go up those steps
I promise that I will never bother you again
Why would I
For the first time, I will be happy and at home
